1. About this policy

This policy explains how Callery.co.uk uses cookies and similar browser technologies.

Callery.co.uk is a personal website operated by Rob Callery.

We aim to minimise the information collected about visitors and only use browser storage where there is a genuine reason to do so.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites can save on your device.

They can support website security, remember preferences, maintain sessions or help websites understand how visitors use their services.

Similar technologies include local storage and session storage within your browser.

3. How Callery.co.uk uses cookies

Callery.co.uk does not use:

The website runs on Cloudflare infrastructure, which may set a cookie when required for security, such as checking that a visitor is not an automated attack.

This helps protect the website against automated abuse and malicious requests.

4. Essential security cookies

With the Cloudflare security settings currently in use, the following cookies may be set. Most visitors will never receive them: they only appear if Cloudflare decides to show a security check.

cf_clearanceCloudflareRecords that you passed a security check, so you are not asked again straight away.Only after Cloudflare shows a security check.30 minutes (our Challenge Passage setting)

Cloudflare's bot cookie __cf_bm is not currently used on Callery.co.uk, because Bot Fight Mode is switched off.

These cookies are strictly necessary for security, so under the UK's Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations they may be used without prior consent. Cloudflare describes them in its cookie documentation.

5. Functional browser storage

Callery.co.uk's pages do not set cookies or use local storage, session storage or other browser storage. Interactive features, such as the beer passport, travel guides, Football Tales album, match centre, CALFAX and F1 Pit Wall, keep any temporary settings only while the page is open.

6. Live data and third-party websites

Some pages show live football scores, F1 timing or the weather in Leeds. Your browser fetches this information directly from the provider, such as ESPN, FotMob, OpenF1, Jolpica or Open-Meteo, and the site's typefaces come from Google Fonts. These requests are listed in our Privacy Policy. Callery.co.uk does not ask these providers to set cookies, and none were found when the site was checked on 27 October 2026.

Callery.co.uk also contains links to websites operated by third parties.

Following an external link takes you to a separate service that may have its own cookies and privacy policy.

Callery.co.uk does not control the cookies used by those external websites.

7. Managing cookies

Most web browsers allow you to inspect, block or delete cookies through their privacy and security settings.

Please be aware that blocking cookies needed for website security may stop you passing a Cloudflare security check if one is shown.

8. Cookie consent

Callery.co.uk does not use non-essential cookies, so there is no cookie banner.

If non-essential cookies or similar technologies are introduced that require consent under UK law, appropriate consent controls will be implemented before those technologies are activated.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy will be reviewed whenever website functionality or the technologies used to operate the site change.
