What the record says

  • ❝Remembered. Bernard Porter's memories list "the Old Red Lion" among Langthorpe's past pubs.[2]
  • ✓1823. Baines's directory lists "Wincup John, victualler: Red Lion" at Langthorpe.[21]
  • ?Same pub?. It is likely, but not proven, that the 1823 Red Lion and the remembered Old Red Lion are the same house.[21][2]
