What the record says

  • ❝Remembered. "In Milby we have the Grantham Arms … and the 4 Alls now a private house."[2]
  • ❝The building. Bernard Porter's memories say the building is now a private house. We have not confirmed which house, so it is not pinned on the map.[2]

Stories

Bernard Porter's notes give the verse behind the name: "King — I rule for All. Priest — I pray for All. Soldier — I fight for All. Everyman — I pay for All." That was a common pub sign: four figures, each with his line. ❝[2]
